1. ABOUT VISO PHOTOGRAPHY

Viso Photography (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Manchester-based portrait and event photography business operating through:

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, photography services, digital products, website usage, and communications between Viso Photography and the client (“you”).

By booking a session, making payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. BOOKING & PAYMENTS

NEW – Added Photography Booking Terms

A booking is only confirmed once:

• A deposit has been paid (where applicable)

• Written confirmation has been received

• Any required booking forms have been completed

Deposits

Deposits are:

• Non-refundable

• Non-transferable

• Required to secure your date and time

Failure to pay a deposit may result in cancellation of your booking slot.

Final Payments

Final balances must be paid:

• Before image delivery

• Or on the day of the session/event unless otherwise agreed in writing

We accept:

• Visa

• Mastercard

• American Express

• Cash

• Bank Transfer

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

NEW – Added 2026 Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking may require full payment

• Event bookings may require additional notice periods

Rescheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions where possible.

Outdoor sessions affected by severe weather may be rearranged at no additional cost.

Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event Viso Photography must cancel due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control:

• A full refund of payments made will be offered OR

• A rescheduled session date will be provided

Liability is limited to the amount paid by the client.

4. IMAGE DELIVERY

NEW – Delivery Timeframes Added

Estimated delivery times:

• Portrait sessions: within 24 Hours from session end.

• Event photography: between 48 Hours and 72 Hours from session end

• Commercial projects: as agreed in writing

Delivery times may vary during busy periods.

Images are delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.

5. EDITING STYLE & RAW FILES

NEW – Added RAW File Protection

Clients acknowledge and accept the artistic editing style of Viso Photography.

We retain full creative control over:

• Editing

• Colour grading

• Retouching

• Image selection

• Final delivery style

RAW Files

RAW/unedited files remain the property of Viso Photography and are not supplied unless agreed in writing.

6. COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USAGE

UPDATED – Photography-Specific Copyright Terms

All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of Viso Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients receive a personal-use licence unless commercial usage rights are explicitly purchased.

Clients may:

• Share images on social media

• Print images for personal use

• Use delivered images for non-commercial purposes

Clients may NOT:

• Sell the images

• Edit or heavily alter the images

• Apply filters that misrepresent our work

• Use images commercially without written permission

• Submit photographs into AI image generators or AI training systems

Commercial usage licensing is available upon request.

7. MODEL RELEASE & MARKETING CONSENT

UPDATED – Stronger GDPR & Consent Language

By participating in a photography session, you grant Viso Photography permission to use selected photographs for:

• Portfolio display

• Website content

• Social media

• Marketing materials

• Promotional advertising

If you do NOT wish your images to be used publicly, you must notify us in writing before the session.

For clients under 18 years old, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Clients may request removal of future promotional usage at any time, though previously published materials may not always be removable.

8. CLIENT CONDUCT

Viso Photography reserves the right to end a session or event coverage immediately where:

• Abuse

• Threatening behaviour

• Harassment

• Unsafe conditions

• Illegal activity

occurs. No refund will be issued under these circumstances.

9. WEBSITE USE

Users of https://www.visophotography.com agree not to:

• Attempt to hack or disrupt the website

• Copy website content without permission

• Use photographs for unauthorised commercial purposes

• Upload malicious software or spam

All website images, branding, text, and logos remain the property of Viso Photography.

10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

We process personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable UK data protection laws.

Client information is used solely for:

• Booking management

• Communication

• Image delivery

• Business administration

We do not sell personal data.

11. DATA STORAGE & IMAGE RETENTION

Delivered galleries and image files may be stored for a limited period.

We recommend clients download and back up their images immediately after delivery.

Viso Photography is not responsible for image loss after the retention period expires.

12. AI & DIGITAL MANIPULATION

NEW – 2026 AI Protection Clause

Clients may not:

• Upload photographs into AI image generators

• Use photographs to train AI systems

• Create AI-generated derivatives of our work

• Remove watermarks or branding

without written permission.

13. ACCESSIBILITY

We aim to make our website accessible to all users.

If you experience accessibility issues using our website or booking systems, please contact us.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Viso Photography shall not be liable for:

• Delays caused by weather

• Venue restrictions

• Third-party interference

• Technical failures outside reasonable control

• Indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

• Severe weather

• Natural disasters

• Illness

• Government restrictions

• Venue closures

• Equipment theft or failure

• Transport disruption

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
